Our Hotel's name means "The Executioner" and it is located at the boundary of the Historic Centre of the City, where, in the Middle Ages, the Town Wall stood. A section of it still remains, namely the Executioner's Gate, the only spot at which he was allowed to enter the town - and then solely in order to carry out his grisly work. Hence our name.. Only a few minutes walk away are the main architectural monuments for which Kutna Hora is famous and which are the reason for the City's inclusion in the UNESCO World Heritage List. These include the Italian Court, St. Barbora's Cathedral, the Jesuit College and the Small Castle.
