The PEGAS microbrewery was one of the first to be build in the Czech Republic after 1989, and the very first ever in Moravia. The idea to reconstrukt a historic building whose foundations date back to the 14th century (illustrated by historic findings borrowered from the Moravian Archaelogical Institute,and exhibited in the brewery) dates to 1990.
